After feeling somewhat underwhelmed with the realities of how the Digital Technologies curriculum is being implemented in schools, the digitalSTEM team came together to affect change. We have analysed current approaches, canvassed expert opinion, crowd sourced education and industry assistance. Our developments are based on a desire to bring together Digital Technologies and Design Thinking. We want to enable Established, Early Career and Pre-Service teachers along with school and University students to connect with Industry Partners and Thought Leaders and build meaningful Networks for Change that co-design and share innovative, real world approaches to STEM education ‘including’ Digital Technology.
